On 18 October 2024 a banning order was made under section 74GB(1) of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018 that prohibits Axel Tunggal Ismail Roberts from being involved in the provision of any type of aged care until he meets the requirements set out below. For the purposes of this banning order “satisfactory evidence” of having undertaken and successfully completed the required courses means a transcript or certificate or other written record prepared by the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that identifies the full name, address and registration number of the RTO that conducted the training; the courses undertaken; the date the courses were completed; the outcome of the course (for example – pass or specific academic grade such as Credit or Distinction); and the name and position title of the person issuing or authorising the transcript, certificate or other record. The banning order takes effect at 5:00 pm (WA time) on 25 October 2024.
